YOUR WEDDING/FUNCTION AT ISLAND DINER

A special occasion demands a special setting. At Island Diner we provide the attention to detail, delectable food and personal service to make your wedding day or private function an unforgettable and magical experience.

WEDDING CEREMONY

We can provide a Gazebo on the beach for personal, intimate wedding vows. Thereafter, enjoy a selection of drinks in the garden after the service

Alternatively should you be married elsewhere, a selection of drinks can be served to your guests on the lawns prior to your arrival for the reception

RECEPTION

We have the following areas to accommodate your wedding reception or function

Coral Reef Restaurant
R5000 venue hire (full deposit required)
This is our 40-seater fine-dining restaurant for smaller, intimate lunch/dinner weddings

Lagoon Room
R9 500 VENUE HIRE FOR TOTAL SET-UP (full deposit required to secure venue)
The Lagoon Room can accommodate a maximum of 100 pax with a dance floor

Indigo Bay Restaurant
(depending on time of the year i.e. not in season) Venue Hire for total set-up is R10500 (full deposit required) We can accommodate 80 pax in the restaurant but 120 pax with a stretch tent on the deck, which is at an extra cost of +/- R5800; a dance floor is provided

WEDDING FLOWERS

We can assist you with all your floral arrangements. Please discuss your ideas with our co-ordinator and we will refer you to our preferred florist in the area.

RECEPTION TIMES

Your party will be allowed into the reception venue at the following times: - morning weddings from 10h30
- evening weddings from 16h00 - Midnight

MENU

We offer a plated menu and request that you select the following from our Menu Selection

Bowls of Greek Salad and homemade bread is served with your starter

• One starter (same starter for all your guests)
• A choice of one to three main courses (depending on the size of your function)
• Dessert
• From R240 per person

Filer Coffee or Tea will be served with dessert
BEVERAGES & BAR ARRANGEMENTS

Minimum requirement is Wine, malt, soft drinks which will be billed to the main account. A cash bar is available for spirits, shooters etc

Please select your choice of Wines and Sparkling wines /Champagne beforehand from our wine list

MARRIAGE MINISTER

We can recommend inter-denominational ministers to perform your vow ceremony should you wish to use this facility

MUSIC

We have resident musicians or DJ's who we can recommend.

SERVICE CHARGES

A 10% service fee will be added to your final food and beverage account
